Just waiting...waiting for the storms to stop.
We're about to take what may be our last trip to the camp before it goes on the market.
Todd and the two older boys left tonight. Fortunately, they arrived before the storms moved in.
Tomorrow, after John's two tests and a presentation at school, we'll hit the road and join the crew before dark.
Saturday, we have a Kayak fishing tournament on the coast. Todd always says a good fisherman never looks at a forecast too far in advance. I couldn't help myself. I kept watching it all week. Not that it would stop me from wanting to take this trip but I have to know what clothes to bring, right?

Luke Gets a Rare Shot at Playing with Food...
My step grand-baby.
He's a charmer.
He also shows off a little of his baby sign language.

Couldn't get LifeCast to post photo...
LifeCast doesn't want to send my photos to my blog but it uploads it to Picasaweb.
Anyway....this is it...manually embedded. Phew!

So Very Tired
I've finally figured out how to post to my blog from my iPod. Now I am too tired to even see straight. So much has happened in the past week that I wouldn't know where to start anyway. I'll post photos later.

Intro to "me" or the one that I will be.
I don't even remember setting up this blog or even why I did it but I think it had something to do with a couple blogs that I was following (some of which I still do).
Whatever the reason, I never really posted anything of any significance because I couldn't figure out why a complete stranger would care to read anything I had to write. Funny that I would think that as I was reading blogs of complete strangers. We all have something to offer as our life experiences vary wildly but so many of us share similar choices, obstacles and triumphs in life and it's nice to know that whatever our situation....we are never alone.
We all have a story...I guess this is some of mine.
